Ennis/Brown House
Los Angeles, California
Frank Lloyd Wright's most monumental experiment with "knit block" construction, this house has been variously compared to a mausoleum, a Mayan temple, and a palace.
John Ash Group provided repair and restoration work following the 1994 Northridge Earthquake, including a complete seismic stabilization. As the house is listed on the National Registrar of Historic Places, all work comes under the rigid scrutiny of the State Historic Preservation office, the Office of Emergency Services, and the National Trust.
