Bookstores
The John Ash Group has designed several projects for two national bookstore chains.
For Barnes and Noble, , JAG has completed projects in Ventura and Pasadena California. In Pasadena, JAG integrated the bookstore and a Starbucks coffee shop into four small historic buildings, satisfying the requirements of both the retailer and the local preservation group.
For Crown Books, JAG has completed projects in Northridge, Cupertino, Palm Springs, and Millbrae. Pasadena's Lake Avenue location required a complete exterior remodel that met the city's stringent design guidelines.
